Saint Paul Hospitality Leaders Come Together to Host Feeding the Front Line
Feeding the Front Line, Morrissey Hospitality's complimentary meal program for first responders and front line health care heroes, will begin service at Saint Paul RiverCentre on Wednesday, April 15 and run through Monday, May 4. Meals will be offered to these individuals seven days a week with pick-up from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Interested participants can place an order each day by texting 612-900-5145 with their name, employer and the number of needed meals. Parties will be notified within two hours via text when their order is ready for curbside pick-up. Wednesday's menu features an egg bake with cheesy hashbrowns, and Thursday will include meatloaf with roasted potatoes and carrots. Previous meals have included prime rib, roasted pork tenderloin and chicken alfredo.
Supported by Morrissey Hospitality, The Saint Paul Hotel, Saint Paul RiverCentre, Visit Saint Paul and US Foods, Feeding the Front Line was originally launched on March 18 to supply complimentary meals to first responders. However, due to overwhelming interest and demand, the preparation and execution has moved to Saint Paul RiverCentre. The move ensures employee safety, eliminates direct person-to-person contact and helps expand the program to include health care front line workers.
"Our partnership with Saint Paul RiverCentre, The Saint Paul Hotel, US Foods and Visit Saint Paul will enable us to take care of the people who are on the front line taking care of the community," said Morrissey Hospitality President Richard Dobransky.
