Minnesota Roller Derby

Minnesota Roller Derby
Event Info
Come for the action, stay for the roar! Minnesota Roller Derby is getting set for their next bout on Saturday, February 8, at The Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium. Get ready for a dino-mite showdown at DINO-SORE, Minnesota Roller Derby’s Season 21 semifinals bout!
Watch two games of prehistoric proportions. The Wednesday Warnings will thrash against the Maul Rats in the first game of the night, followed by a clash between the Bodies of Water and the Roller Vortex. Who will stomp to the top and advance to the finals for a chance to claim the ultimate prize: the Golden Skate?!
Special guests in attendance will be the 2025 Women’s Roller Derby World Cup USA National Team (USARD). Fans will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch derby alongside the best skaters from across the U.S., including Minnesota Roller Derby’s very own Hurtrude Stein, who was drafted to USARD this past fall. USARD will also host a clinic teaching a variety of jammer and blocker skills as well as gameplay strategy on Sunday, February 9. Find more information on the clinic on Minnesota Roller Derby’s or USARD’s websites or social media pages.
Doors open at 5 p.m., and the first whistle blows at 6 p.m. Come early to watch a brief demonstration of roller derby rules, drop by concessions, and meet skaters before the first whistle blows. At halftime, make your way to the track for a dance party and shop the merchandise table for clothes and accessories representing your favorite team. After the bout, hang out with the skaters at Camp Bar and Cabaret in Saint Paul at the official MNRD after-party.
Metro Transit is providing free rides to our bouts. Fill out this form to get a transit pass to this bout.
