Minnesota Roller Derby
Minnesota Roller Derby
Event Info
It’s All-Star season! On Saturday, April 27, Minnesota Roller Derby will host their first All-Star bout of Season 20 in The Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium. The Minnesota All-Stars are an elite group of skaters who compete nationally playing world-class roller derby.
In the first game, watch the Minnesota Nice, the B-team, take on St. Louis’s Arch Rival Nemesis. The Minnesota All-Stars, Minnesota Roller Derby’s A-Team, will then battle it out against California Derby Galaxy in the game directly following. You won’t want to miss this last opportunity to watch hard-hitting games at their home venue this season!
Doors open at 5 p.m., and the first whistle blows at 6 p.m. Come early to watch a brief demonstration of roller derby rules, drop by concessions, and meet skaters. At halftime, make your way to the track for a dance party and shop the merchandise table for clothes and accessories representing your favorite team. After the bout, hang out with the skaters at Camp Bar and Cabaret in Saint Paul at the official MNRD after-party.
