WELCOME TO THE 18TH ANNUAL MINNESOTA STATE PROSTART INVITATIONAL

Today, we proudly showcase the professional skills of over 100 ProStart students across culinary and management competitions.

Culinary teams have one hour to prepare a three-course meal and are judged on knife skills, teamwork, sanitation, presentation and taste.

Management teams create business proposals for new restaurant concepts and are judged based on their menu, cost, operations, marketing and critical thinking.

Winning teams in each division will receive financial assistance from HMEF as they represent Minnesota at the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore, Maryland, April 26-28, 2024.

Parking: Attendees are encouraged to park in the RiverCentre Parking Ramp which is located on Kellogg Boulevard and offers skyway access to Saint Paul RiverCentre.

This #BlackHistoryMonth, we pay tribute to Roy Wilkins, a fearless leader in the fight for justice and equality. As the longtime executive director of the NAACP, Wilkins played a crucial role in landmark victories like the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. His unwavering commitment to nonviolent activism helped shape a more just America. We are proud that his legacy lives on in Saint Paul as the namesake of the Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium.
