Saint Paul is just eight miles from the award-winning Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP), a Delta Air Lines hub. MSP has one airfield with four runways and two terminal buildings: Terminal 1 - Lindbergh and Terminal 2 - Humphrey.

Animals
-
Certified service animals are welcome, however, they must remain on a leash or in a harness. The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog or another animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. All other animals are strictly prohibited unless prior approval granted.

Baby Changing Stations

Baby changing stations are located in all public restrooms.

Balloons
-
Helium balloons carried in by attendees are prohibited inside Saint Paul RiverCentre and Roy Wilkins Auditorium.

Bike Racks
-
Five bike racks are located on our campus. All are made of recycled content and are yet another step in reducing our carbon footprint and providing a setting that encourages sustainable choices. Click here for a map of our bike rack locations. Please note our bike racks are reserved for non-motorized bikes only.

Box Office
-
Saint Paul RiverCentre and Roy Wilkins Auditorium each have onsite box offices for public events. For box office services on non-event days, guests are directed to the Xcel Energy Center Box Office.

Business Center
-
Loffler Business Center is conveniently located inside Saint Paul RiverCentre and can fulfill your copying, binding, printing and signage needs. Clients and exhibitors are encouraged to submit business center orders before arrival. By doing so, shipping fees (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) will be eliminated. Final products can be delivered directly to your booth or registration desk upon your arrival.

Cameras and Video Equipment
-
Event promoters reserve the right to deny use of cameras or video equipment. Every event varies regarding camera and video policies. For public events, the general rules include (but are subject to change):
- Cameras with a detachable lens or lens of more than two (2) inches are prohibited from events. The use of flash photography may also be prohibited. The event producer reserves the right to deny camera use at any time before or during the event and to prohibit the use of any camera that is deemed unacceptable.
- Video recorders or digital cameras with recording capabilities are prohibited at any time and Saint Paul RiverCentre reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that staff deems unacceptable.

Charging Station

Near Headwaters Café, you can find a chargeFUZE portable phone charging kiosk that allows guests to rent a portable mobile power bank that can be used anywhere and returned to the location on site. ChargeFUZE power banks are built in to include charging cables for iOS, Android, and other devices.

Coat Check / Baggage Check

Coat and baggage checks are only available should an event promoter make arrangements for them. Please call us at (651) 265-4800 if you have a question regarding a specific event.

Guest Code of Conduct at Saint Paul RiverCentre
Saint Paul RiverCentre is committed to a safe, inclusive and comfortable environment and an enjoyable hospitality experience. Guests have a right to expect an environment in which they will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all facility personnel. Accordingly, guests are responsible for their own conduct.
These standards have been established with respect to guest conduct:
- Guests are entitled to enjoy the event day experience in and around Saint Paul RiverCentre free from disruptive or inconsiderate behaviors, or unruly actions.
- Guests may not interfere with the event in any manner.
- Guests will avoid using abusive language, obscene gestures and obscene messages on clothing
- Guests will refrain from fighting, horseplay or throwing objects.
- Guests with behavior deemed detrimental to the enjoyment of the event may be removed from the facility.
- Guests who choose to consume alcohol are responsible for ensuring they do so in a responsible manner. Staff of Saint Paul RiverCentre and our food and beverage partner, MHC Culinary Group, will ensure that intervention with intoxicated or impaired guests is handled in a prompt and safe manner.
- In the interest of safety, all guests are asked to comply with requests from Saint Paul RiverCentre staff regarding operational and emergency procedures.

Electric Car Charging Stations

The RiverCentre Parking Ramp is equipped with eight electric car charging stations. These charging stations offer simple, safe and convenient access to electricity while your car is parked in our parking ramp.

Entrances
-
Saint Paul RiverCentre is served with two main entrances off the street and one from the skyway connected to the RiverCentre Parking Ramp.
- Kellogg Boulevard Entrances (Main Entrance): Two entrances to Saint Paul RiverCentre exist along Kellogg Boulevard. These entrances are directly across the street from the RiverCentre Parking Ramp and feature a curb cut for easy drop-off and pick up of guests.
- Rice Park Entrance: Entrance is located on the east side of Saint Paul RiverCentre on the corner of Washington Avenue and 4th Street near the Ordway, Herbie’s on the Park restaurant and Rice Park.
- Skyway Entrance: Guests who park in the RiverCentre Parking Ramp can walk over Kellogg Boulevard via a climate controlled skyway. Guests should take the elevators at the west end of the parking ramp for access to the skyway level.

First Aid

Onsite first aid services are generally provided by Regions Hospital for all public events. Contact any Saint Paul RiverCentre staff member for assistance.

Food and Beverage

- Headwaters Café: Located on the lobby level of Saint Paul RiverCentre, Headwaters Café offers visitors a fresh-from-scratch alternative to standard convention center hospitality. Our extensive menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and daily features, along with your favorite coffee, tea or latte, is sure to offer something for everyone. The bar at Headwaters Café, which opens in support of evening events, offers cold beer and sodas, wine and a variety of cocktails as well as a bar menu featuring tasty appetizers.
- Concession Stands: During most public events, concession stands offer a variety of specialty items located throughout the show floor.
- Outside Food & Beverage Policy: Due to health code regulations and our exclusive contract with MHC Culinary Group, outside food and beverages are prohibited for attendees, exhibitors and event promoters.

Lost and Found
-
During private events, lost and found items are turned in to the event promoter. Items not retrieved during an event are brought to the Guest Experience Team within our facility.
To report a lost item after an event, please fill out the lost and found form. In the "Item Description" section, please include as much information about the item as possible, such as color and physical description. If an item is turned in that matches your item, you will be contacted to verify details of the item.
Unclaimed items will be discarded/donated 7 days after the date the item is turned in.

Metal Detectors

Saint Paul RiverCentre uses walk-through metal detectors (WTMD) for many events. Guests are required to pass through walk-through metal detectors upon entry. To expedite the screening process, guests are encouraged to leave non-essential items at home or in their vehicles.

Nursing Mothers
-
Our venues are equipped with two permanent nursing mother’s rooms. Each features a secure room, comfortable chair, dim lighting and an electrical outlet for nursing mothers. One room is available on the ballroom level near the women’s restroom and the other is located inside the women's restroom in Hall A. Both are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that Saint Paul RiverCentre does not provide refrigeration.

Parking

There are approximately 13,000 parking spots within three blocks of Saint Paul RiverCentre.
The RiverCentre Parking Ramp is the closest parking ramp. This parking ramp is located directly across the street from Saint Paul RiverCentre and is connected via skyway system.
Attendees are encouraged to use the City of Saint Paul's interactive parking map to find a variety of parking options within walking distance of the complex.
Oversized vehicle parking is not available at Saint Paul RiverCentre. Those in search of oversized vehicle parking, are encouraged to contact the union depot lot C at 651-202-2741 to make arrangements. Parking reservations require 24 hour notification and pre-payment is required. Parking in this lot is subject to availability.

Permit to Carry

Weapon policies vary inside Saint Paul RiverCentre. Guests with permits to carry are permitted to do so in Saint Paul RiverCentre, unless an individual event promoter dictates otherwise. Event promoters have the right to ban weapons at their events and if so, proper signage will be placed at the event entrance. If you have a specific question regarding permit to carry, please email us at info@rivercentre.org or call us at (651) 265-4800 with the name of the event you plan to attend so we can provide clarification on whether weapons are permitted.
For concerts and Minnesota RollerGirls bouts in Roy Wilkins Auditorium, weapons are prohibited. -

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited for most events and may not be brought into Saint Paul RiverCentre or Roy Wilkins Auditorium:
- Outside food or beverage
- Cans, bottles, coolers or similar containers
- Masks (Prohibited masks are defined as forms of disguise or concealment worn over or in front of the face to hide the identity of the person)
- Knives with blades that exceed 4 inches
- Drones
- Any other items that an event promoter deems restricted.
All guests are subject to be searched upon entering the venue. Purses, diaper bags and other small bags are allowed, but may be inspected.

Restrooms

Public restrooms are all equipped with ADA accommodations. Gender neutral and family restrooms are available in Saint Paul RiverCentre.

Security

Venue security is present 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to manage overall facility security. Event-specific security is determined by each individual event promoter and will vary by event.

Skyway System / Tunnel

The RiverCentre Parking Ramp is conveniently attached to our facilities via a climate controlled skyway, meaning you never have to set foot in the elements if the day isn’t favorable. In addition, Saint Paul RiverCentre is connected to the downtown skyway system, making it easy to walk indoors to local hotels and restaurants.

Smoking / Vaping

Under the provisions of the Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act of 1975, Saint Paul RiverCentre and Roy Wilkins Auditorium are non-smoking buildings. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products, is not permitted within 25 feet outside any entrance or exit. This policy includes our enclosed loading dock.

Uber/Lyft are encouraged to drop off and pick up at the main entrance: 175 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102. There is not a designated Uber/Lyft stand unless coordinated directly by an event promoter.

Wheelchairs and Motorized Scooters

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to be checked out on a first come, first served basis. Wheelchairs are to be used onsite and are not permitted to leave the property. Saint Paul RiverCentre does not provide motorized scooters.

Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet)

Saint Paul RiverCentre has free, venue-wide Wi-Fi available for all events. Inside the venue, there are more than 100 Wi-Fi access points covering all levels. Guests can easily connect to the Wi-Fi network by selecting “RC_FreeWiFi” from among the connection options appearing on their device.
